8.0 System Ventilation <br /> 8.3 VENTILATION PLACEMENT: In a GSF system, the vent is usually a 4-inch diameter pipe extended <br /> to a convenient location behind shrubs, as shown in the figure below. Corrugated pipe may be used. If <br /> using corrugated pipe, ensure that the pipe does not have any bends that will allow condensation to pond <br /> in the pipe. This may close off the vent line.
