The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Two blue 55-gallon poly drums of waste antifreeze were observed without an accumulation start date,the last pick <br /> up date listed on the drum was January 2020. <br /> -one black metal 55-gallon drum of used paper filters were observed without an accumulation start date, name and <br /> address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state <br /> -one black metal 55-gallon drum of used unpuncutured/undrained metal filters were observed without an <br /> accumulation start date,the words hazardous waste, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, <br /> physical state <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> This report is for the hazardous waste generated at the facility. <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended to <br /> remove#608 and update items#601 and #605. This amended report and replaces the initial report. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the amended inspection report, 4/7/2022. <br /> Wastes generated by this facility: used oil, used antifreeze, used paper filters, used metal filters, used <br /> absorbent, universal waste aerosols, brake shavings <br /> Documents provided during inspection: list of free CUPA classes, Sample used filter and HW Labels, Return to <br /> Compliance Certification, Corrective Action Statement <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
