19 MAY 2000 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER LE00-144 <br /> 3. Mokelumne Rural Fire Department <br /> Inquiries were made with the Mokelumne Rural Fire Department in an attempt to determine <br /> if there are any files present at that agency which note any hazardous materials storage, releases or <br /> spills,underground storage tanks,above ground storage tanks,or leaking underground storage tanks <br /> on the subject property or in the vicinity of the subject property. <br /> Mokelumne Rural Fire Department indicated that they did not retain these records bu that <br /> the San Joaquin County Fire Enforcement Department did. NOA Environmental contacted the San <br /> Joaquin County Fire Enforcement Department to find out if any files were present for the subject <br /> property. According to Sherry with the Department,there are no files on the subject property at the <br /> Fire Enforcement Department. <br /> 4. San Joaquin CountyAgricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted by telephone in <br /> an effort to determine whether the subject property had been used in the past for agricultural <br /> purposes, and whether agricultural chemicals had been used on the subject property. <br /> According to officials at the Agricultural Commissioner's Office several chemicals have been <br /> applied repeatedly to the subject property. According to files received from the San Joaquin County <br /> Agricultural Commissioner's Office,the following chemicals have been applied to the property(the <br /> years of application on file are indicated after the chemical listing): <br /> Gramoxone (Paraquat): 1998 <br /> Sevin (Carbaryl): 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 <br /> Direx: 1998 <br /> Strychnine: 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 <br /> Paraquat: 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 <br /> Nemacur(fenamiphos): 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 <br /> Furadan (Carbofuran): 1995, 1996 <br /> Chloropicrin: 1995, 1996, 1997 <br /> Maneb Dust: 1995, 1996, 1997 <br /> CoCs 15: 1995 <br /> Dithane: 1996 <br /> Provado: 1996 <br /> Sim-Trot (Simazine): 1998 <br /> No-Foam-A: 1996, 1998 <br /> Herb Activator: 1998 <br /> Solubor: 1998 <br /> 6 <br />
