INTERVIEWS <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical,as well as,current information relative to the subject site <br /> from the property owner or key site manager of the property.The objective of the interview process <br /> is to obtain information indicating recognized environmental conditions in connection with the <br /> proposed project site. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was mailed to the <br /> property owner by NOA Environmental. <br /> According to Elward Goehring, one of the property owners,this property has been a vineyard since <br /> 1945. Prior to grape production,the property was used as pasture land and to grow Alfalfa. It was <br /> also noted that this site is the former residence of Judge Marion H. DeVries. The owner reports that <br /> there are no underground storage tanks; however,there is one(1) above ground 250 gallon storage <br /> tank which is reported to contain diesel. It was noted that the subject property has had agricultural <br /> pesticides applied. <br /> VII. SITE VISIT/ASSESSMENT <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted prior to the compilation of this report. <br /> A site map and photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site <br /> visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix F. <br /> The subject property is located at 23755 North DeVries Road,Lodi, San Joaquin County,California. <br /> The subject property is currently one parcel. At the eastern end of the parcel, along DeVries Road, <br /> is a single family residence which belongs to the family. The remainder of the subject property is <br /> currently being used for wine grape production. The properties to the north,south,east and west are <br /> also in agricultural production. <br /> No industrial processes with the potential to release lead into the environment were observed on the <br /> subject property. No potential lead-containing commercial products were observed on the subject <br /> property. <br /> VIII. FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> This assessment has revealed no evidence of recognized environmental conditions in connection <br /> with the subject property. We wish to reiterate that this property is under a Williamson Act <br /> contract and will remain agricultural. No plans to convert this property to residential exist. <br /> XI. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> No further investigation is required. <br /> 10 <br />
