De La Torre : <br /> In answer to your inquiry concerning the captioned <br /> application , the property is presently irrigated by means of a <br /> private ditch running westerly along the north edge of the land <br /> from an inlet gate at the northeast corner . The enclosed parcel <br /> map shows the gate and approximate alignment of the ditch. <br /> If the lot is split as proposed , it will be impossible to <br /> deliver irrigation water for Parcel C unless an adequate easement <br /> is reserved across Parcel B from the inlet gate to the common <br /> boundary of the two parcels . <br /> Also , if water is delivered to Parcel C through the <br /> existing private ditch , it probably will be necessary to install <br /> waterproof gates at all outlets from the ditch on Parcel B, for <br /> otherwise there may be considerable leakage each time Parcel C is <br /> irrigated . <br /> Further , although it is unlikely the owners of Parcel A <br /> will want irrigation water , please note that it will be <br /> impossible to make such water available unless a suitable <br /> easement is provided across Parcel B from the inlet gate to the <br /> north boundary of Parcel A. <br /> Very ruly yours , <br /> ER J.
