Proposal to Conduct Geotechnical Engineering Investigation
Arch Road Gas Station
4850 S. State 99 E.
Strockton CA 95215 /
Prop. No: 25-22-011 1/18/2022 ca_
LaboratoryTesting ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ $600.00
Soils samples obtained in the field will be used to identify soil types and evaluate pertinent engineering
properties. Specifically, materials will be tested to determine appropriate geotechnical design parameters
for project development and will provide seismic loading criteria and seismic settlement potential for the
new structures. The laboratory budget includes performing tests for material gradations, plasticity, and
classification. Additional testing, such as expansion potential, R -value, and consolidation may be
performed as necessary according to field observations.
Engineering and Geological Evaluation -------------------------------------------------------------------- $1,690.00
The final report will represent field and laboratory data, evaluation of the site geology and soil formation
properties. The report will evaluate for and will provide appropriate seismic loading parameters and
seismic settlement evaluations for the proposed improvements.
Total Lump Sum Project Cost -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $5,122.00
The cost proposal is based upon the above-mentioned scope of services and our understanding of the
project. Should any unforeseen conditions rise that would significantly affect the cost of the investigation,
the client will be notified within one working day. If any additional laboratory testing becomes necessary,
the client will be informed of any additional cost prior to performing the test.
Principal Engineer
$190.00/hr
Senior Engineer/Geologist
$170.00/hr
Project Engineer/Geologist
$150.00/hr
Staff Engineer/ Geologist
$130.00/hr
Soil Technician
$110.00/hr
Project Schedule
The project schedule will consist of purchasing and processing of boring permits through the regulatory
agency having jurisdiction (if required); mobilizing and drilling soil borings; laboratory testing; and
engineering and geologic evaluation of the project subsurface soils. As such, the project can be
completed in a period of approximately 4-8 weeks after authorization has been received.
Authorization
Should this scope of work, as described, meet your approval, you may authorize the work to proceed by
signing a copy of this proposal Authorization and returning the signed copy to our Sacramento Branch
office.
