ITEM NO. 8
PC: 3-16-78
5-78-6
Page ,2
REFERRALS AND REPLIES
- San Joaquin County Surveyor
- San Joaquin County Flood Control Engineers
- San Joaquin Local Health District
- San Joaquin County Fire Warden - Recommend public water system with
fire hydrants . Install one pump capable of supplying 500 GPM to
required hydrants ; interconnect system to Wilkinson Manor Subdivision
and proposed Marway Subdivision. Provide specification for public
water system.
- Building Department - Permits, inspections will be required.
- Lodi School District
- San Joaquin Delta College
- Morada Homeowners ' Association
- Central California Traction Railroad
- County Sheriff
- Parks and Recreation
- Agriculture Department
- City of Stockton
- Waterloo-Morada Fire District
- P.G.&E.
- P.T.&T.
- San Joaquin Council of Governments
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
- Oakleaf Court should be extended to connect with Balsam Drive to provide
improved circulation to both this subdivision and Wilkinson Manor.
- The large number of streets with "Oak" in their names is confusing.
There are already Oak Court, Oak Knoll Court, Oak Lane, Oak Street,
Oak Leaf Way, Oak Creek Drive, Oakhurst Way, Oakmont Drive, Oakridge
Way, and Oakview Lane in the City of Stockton.
- As this subdivision adjoins Mosher Creek, a terminal drain, terminal
drainage should be , provided. This will avoid possible drainge problems .
- Terminal drainage for Rural Residential subdivisions conforms with
General Plan policies.
- The existing trees should be saved where this is possible.
- The California Traction Railroad right of way should be fenced to
prevent accidents.
- Serious consideration should be given to providing this subdivision
with 3 public water system as recommended by the Fire Warden. This
would have several advantages. It would provide much improved fire
protection; it would improve the connection of the proposed Marway
Estates Subdivision to the Wilkinson Manor and Mosher Manor water
systems . It would provide a more secure water supply to the
subdivision residents and it would reduce the number of wells required.
