This zone is more appropriate than
the existing R1-8 and R-3 zones to implement the General Plan.
- There has been an Environmental Impact Report prepared for the original
Mosher Manor Subdivision proposal (EIR 73-27). The report addressed
the impacts associated with a 114 lot subdivision without access
across Mosher Slough.
- This project will probably have less impact than would the original
114 lot proposal.
- The Environmental Review Committee certified that EIR as adequate
for this project on August 27, 1975. Only minor revisions have
been made in the map since that date.
- Uses to the south conform to development at suburban density.
REFERRALS AND REPLIES
- Morada Homeowners Association
- Lodi Unified School District - the District is faced with a serious
overcrowding problem. A decrease in housing density would be most
beneficial.
- Public Works
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Ultimately, Morada will develop
services will not be available.
foot lots would conform to the
community.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND FINDINGS
as a Rural Residential Area and
Thirty -thousand (30,000) square
overall development of that
- Approval with the finding that the proposed zone is more appropriate
to implement the General Plan.
