W. DAVE OLMSTEAD
BROKER-OEVELOPER
P.O. Boz 134
TRACY. CALIF. 95376
F2091 835-7289
July 17, 1985
Lee Hall, Director
San Joaquin County Local Health Dist.
Post Office Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Re: Santos Well #1
Dear Lee:
Recent tests on the subject well show all constituents
in conformity with Title 22 except that the secondary
standard of TDS fluctuates above and below 1000 on
various tests. Present owners of this system have de-
cided to treat this water and reduce the TDS by methods
including, but not limited to, demineralization, de-
ironization, and/or blending with the Los Ranchos #2
well which will be sealed to a depth of 300' vs. 100'
for the Santos #1 well. A request is hereby madethat
Local Health approve the continued use of this system
for present and future residential occupancy on the
basis of Title 22 paragraph 64473F-1.
In order that all constituents are below State standards
when present owner requests dedication of entire system
to the County, owner agrees as follows:
1. By November 1, 1985 to complete the study and
engineering of the process to reduce TDS.
2. By February 1, 1986 to obtain approvals and
commence to implement such system and complete
within 90 days thereafter.
Si cerely,
W. Dave Olmstead
WDO/bw
