6. Identify other pollution and contamination that may exist in the <br />ground water in the vicinity of Santos Ranch. <br />7. Determine the effect on ground water quality and quanity at Santos <br />Ranch Development due to off site activities and phenomenia. <br />8. Catalog existing and new data in a technical manner so that mitigating <br />plans can be proposed to allow for safe drinking water and sewage <br />disposal in the Santos Ranch area. <br />9. Prepare best apparent plans or mitigating ground water quality <br />problems found to exist in the Santos Ranch Development area. <br />The plan includes:. <br />° Feasibility Plan <br />° Financial Plan <br />° Schedule of Work to Accomplish Said Plan Goals <br />To accomplish the goals of Items I - 9 above, the following work plan <br />is proposed for funding under the Section 205 (j), Clean Water Act: <br />A. Preparation of a map, suitable for work planning and control, to <br />be used in evaluation of compiled data and project feasibility planning. <br />B. Seasonal ground water elevation measurements using backhoe pits <br />to depths not to exceed 12' in depth, well drilling logs, sampling <br />wells (PCV 4" diameter capped pipe to depths not to exceed 12' <br />below ground surface). <br />C. Extensive seasonal sampling of existing domestic water wells to <br />determine concentrations of NO3, TDS, Biological Contamination <br />indicators and other suspected or identified pollutants or <br />contaminates. <br />D. Hydrological determination of ground water sources, movement <br />and general destination. <br />Items 1 - 9 above will provide the data tools for evaluation of existing <br />conditions and planning for mitigating the existing problem, if any, and <br />plan for the future using data and information obtained from Task A <br />- D above. Data and information to be determined by 1 - 9 above is <br />-6- <br />
