Products from Items A to D are <br />equally obvious, but are given again for clarity: <br />Determination of effective unsaturated soil depth for reaching <br />treatment by existing sewage systems (Septic Tank/Leaching <br />Lines). <br />Determination of degree of current and future pollution and <br />contamination of Santos Ranch ground water. <br />° Evaluate the degree of existing and potential health hazard <br />to people using ground water from Santos Ranch area over <br />an extended period of time. <br />The consultant will be responsible for all of the activities authorized <br />by the Section 205 (j) Clean Water Act work plan. A summary of this <br />work is given on page 8, followed by the proposed work plan time schedule, <br />Figure 4, page 9. Portions of the work will be done by qualified local <br />residents of Santos Ranch as a portion of the local share (25% local - <br />75% federal sharing) in kind work creditl' <br />Data evaluation, all technical and financial planning will be done by <br />professional consultant staff. Moldenhauer Engineering company, who <br />carries $1 Million dollars of Errors and Omissions Insurance and a like <br />amount of general libility insurance will be responsible for all phases <br />of work outlined in the final work plan. This will be so stated in the <br />contract documents one the grant offer and final work plan is approved <br />by all concerned parties. <br />1 <br />it is nnlicipated that Mr. John Edwards, Grade V Operator <br />Certificate, will assist voluntarily in supervision of water sample <br />collection and transport to a Certified Laboratory for analysis. <br />Backhoe pit excavations will be coordinated by local residents. <br />Fabrication and installation of shallow depth test wells will <br />be. accomplished by local residents under the consultants <br />supervision. Also costs of review and imput form local <br />governmental agencies will considered in kind labor cost for <br />credit to local share cost. <br />ye <br />
