The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for DINO MART as of April 21, 2022. <br /> Open violations from August 24, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation#406-Empty hazardous waste or material container greater than 5 gallons not managed per this <br /> section. <br /> OBSERVATION:A 55 gallon red empty steel drum was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with holes in <br /> it, and not marked. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br /> waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br /> and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br /> within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: Two 55 gallon black steel drums of petroleum mix with water <br /> and contaminated solids was observed in the dumpster area with no start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
