Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause forebears illness.All major violations most be contacted immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed the dry storage area is using bare-wood shelving. Provide a replacement, paint or seal the <br /> wood in order to ensure the dry-storage area contains approved shelving.Correct before operation of the facility. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br /> above the floor on approved shelving.(114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069(b)) <br /> #43 Toilet Facilites Clean/Supplied/.Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The restroom at this time contains excess equipment being stored inside of it. Remove all equipment <br /> and store no items inside of the restroom that will be sold to the public.a correction must be made before the permit can be <br /> issued to the facility. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Toilet facilities shall be maintained clean,sanitary and in good repair. Toilet rooms shall be separated by a <br /> well-fitting self-closing door. Toilet tissue shall be provided in a permanently installed dispenser at each toilet. The number of toilet <br /> facilities shall be in accordance with local building and plumbing ordinances. Toilet facilities shall be provided for patrons:in <br /> establishments with more than 20,000 sq ft.establishments offering on-site liquor consumption.(114250, 114250.1, 114276) <br /> #45 Floors,Walls,Ceilings;Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed the floor board behind the 3-compartment sink is currently wood-based and is no longer <br /> secured to the wall. Remove and provide proper coving for the wall behind the 3-compartment wall.A correction will need to <br /> be made before a permit can be issued for the facility. <br /> Observed a large section in front of the walk-in cooler that contains file damage at this time. Replace or repair to ensure the <br /> flooring is complete and the bare concrete underneath is not exposed. Correct before operation of the facility. <br /> Observed a large hole by the carbon dioxide canisters being stored underneath the self-service area of the facility. Repair or <br /> patch hole to ensure a completely enclosed food facility.Correct before operation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The wells/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces,other than the customer service areas,shall be approved,smooth,durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
