A Site Map <br />presented as Plate 2 shows the layout of the entire parcel, the former area of capped wastes (WU1) <br />on the far northwesterly portion of the site, and the general layout of a commercial/light-industrial <br />building that is under construction on the property. A detail map showing the WU1 area and the <br />locations of verification soil samples collected beneath the removed wastes is presented as Plate <br />3. Plate 4 is a site map that showing the layout of the building and pavements at the site and the <br />waste reuse areas (beneath portions of the building and concrete pavements). Analytical laboratory <br />data for verification soil samples collected beneath WU1 and for samples collected from waste <br />materials excavated from WU1 are summarized on Tables I through VII; the laboratory reports <br />and chain-of-custody documentation are included in the appendix. <br /> <br /> <br />2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 Site Location, Description, and Site Development/Construction <br /> <br />The approximate 48-acre subject property is located about 500 feet easterly of Murphy Parkway and <br />about 1,000 feet northerly of D’Arcy Parkway in a commercial and industrial area of Lathrop, San <br />Joaquin County, California. The property consists of an approximate 48-acre parcel identified as <br />APN 198-120-09. A Vicinity Map showing the location of the property is presented as Plate 1, and <br />a Site Map is presented as Plate 2. <br /> <br />Development of the subject property is underway for an approximate 870,000 square-foot <br />commercial/light-industrial structure intended for use for warehouse/distribution purposes. Site <br />grading and project earthwork construction were completed earlier this year. The concrete floor <br />slab and concrete tilt-up walls for the structure have been constructed, and roof construction is <br />partly completed. Underground utilities at the site have been installed, and a stormwater retention <br />pond was constructed on the far southwesterly portion of the site. Onsite areas exterior to the <br />building will support asphaltic-concrete and concrete pavements; portions of the pavements at the <br />site have been completed, and the remainder of the pavements are planned to be constructed in the <br />very near future.
