The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for ERIC D HANDEL as of July 13 , 2022 . <br /> Open violations from May 06 , 2022 inspection <br /> Violation #401 - Failed to store hazardous waste in a container that is in good condition . <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste was found stored on -site in containers that are not in good condition . The <br /> following container were observed : <br /> -one 35 gallon metal drum storing used oil was observed with severe rusting <br /> -one 55 gallon metal drum was observed with staining and buildup on oil on the top and sides indicating a leak <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Hazardous waste shall be stored in a containers that are in good condition . If a <br /> container holding hazardous waste is not in good condition (e . g . , severe rusting , apparent structural defects) , or if it <br /> begins to leak , the owner or operator shall transfer the hazardous waste from this container to a container that is in <br /> good condition , or manage the waste in some other way that complies with the hazardous waste requirements . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately transfer all hazardous wastes into containers that are in good condition . <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #601 - Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days ( 90 days acute 1 extremely) . <br /> OBSERVATION The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with no accumulation start date : <br /> -several small containers of household chemicals that still contain product ( per Eric, they will be disposed as <br /> hazardous waste ) <br /> -one 35 gallon metal drum of used oil <br /> -one 55 gallon metal drum of used oil <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262 . 34 . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations . Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
