2 . Construct a water well under permit and inspection of the <br /> Environmental Health Division prior to occupancy . Should <br /> the number . of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at <br /> least 60 days per year, or the number of service connections <br /> exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a public water <br /> system under the provisions of Title 22 , CCR, will be <br /> required by the Environmental Health Division. <br /> 3 . Submit plans designed by a registered engineer to the <br /> Environmental Health Division for review . Plans for the <br /> development shall include the well locations , water <br /> distribution system and all subsurface sewage disposal <br /> fields . <br /> 4 . The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Division as follows (state specific <br /> condition of well) : <br /> 5 . Destroy or properly seal the abandoned well(s) under permit <br /> and inspection by the Environmental Health Division . <br /> 6 . Install an approved backflow prevention device on the water <br /> supply system(s) . <br /> 7 . Connection to an approved public water supply system is <br /> required. <br /> a. A test well will be required to meet the following : <br /> 1 . Water quality tested to meet Title 22 , CCR ( Safe <br /> Drinking Water Act) , requirements . <br /> 2 . Water quantity tested to show an adequate source . <br /> 3 . Results approved by the Environmental Health <br /> Division and County Public Works prior to final <br /> approval of improvement plans . <br /> 4 . Obtain all required permits . <br /> b. A letter from the water supplier will be required <br /> stating that they have the capacity to serve the <br /> development and that the system meets State standards <br /> prior to recording the final map. <br /> 3 . Any existing wells or septic tanks must be destroyed under <br /> permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division. <br /> SEWAGE : <br /> 9 . Construct an individual sewage disposal system(s) under a <br /> Permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division <br /> prior to occupancy. <br /> 10 . Submit plans for approval by the Environmental Health <br /> Division for a sewage treatment plant or a sewage disposal <br /> system for the entire development . The plans must be <br /> designed by a Registered Engineer . <br />
