STORAGE: There shall be no outside storage of vehicles or equipment associated with the <br /> operation or maintenance of the approved facility. Storage shall either be within an enclosed <br /> structure or inside a fenced and screened outdoor storage area. In the case of the latter, a six- <br /> foot-high fence and landscape screening elements shall be included on the Site Plan. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1022.4[d]) <br /> g. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of static water supply (NFPA 1231 <br /> of the National Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> (3) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code <br /> and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building <br /> Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water-flow <br /> switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. A knox box <br /> (key box) shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume 2, <br /> Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.
