The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for PACIFIC TOWING as of July13 , 2022 . Open violations from May 16, 2022 inspection Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste . OBSERVATION Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site without hazardous waste labeling . The containers were : 6 containers of paint observed in a 20 foot container located outside ( behind the shop) . Per owner Casey Haynes , the paint will be disposed of as hazardous waste . REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information : the words " Hazardous Waste" , name and address of generator, hazardous properties , physical state , composition (contents) , accumulation start date CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste . Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) within 30 days . ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date ) : ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Violation #608 - Failed to properly manage used oil filters or fuel filters . OBSERVATION Containers of used metal oil filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed on-site . The following used metal oil filter container was on -site : one black metal 55 gallon drum did not have labeling and has been on -site for more than one year. REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266 . 130 Management of Used Oil Filters , California Health & Safety Code section 25250 . 22 Fuel Filters CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately drain all metal oil and fuel filters of free-flowing liquid , store them in closed , rainproof containers . Label the container with the words " drained used oil filters" or " used gasoline filters" , depending on the contents . Mark the container with an accumulation start date . Dispose of all used filters stored on -site greater than one year. Used filters not stored , handled and disposed of according to this section are regulated as hazardous waste .
