and tank to prevent overflow. Ensure that the material in the container is <br />either motor oil or antifreeze, and not contaminated with other waste. All <br />motor oil will be bulked, packaged and shipped to a facility authorized to <br />receive used oil pursuant to Section 25200, Health and Safety Code. <br />9, Labpack <br />Chemicals, pesticides, acids, and bases are identified here. They will <br />then be marked and packed according to proper D.O.T. hazard classification <br />for a safe shipment back to PHILIP ENVIRONNMNTAL's T. S.D. facility, <br />where they will be consolidated and packaged for final disposal. Some drums <br />may be sent directly to an incinerator, landfill or recycler without repacking <br />within one of PHILIP's plants. In these cases your complete attention should <br />be given to insuring that they are packaged correctly. <br />Do not let materials accumulate on the labpack tables.. T45 ?lakes it <br />very difficult to complete the packing lists and get the drums, ready for <br />shipment before closing time. It is important to ensure that incompatible <br />materials are not placed next to each other on the table. All reactive material <br />will be packaged immediately after being received. <br />Pay close attention to the PPE being used and safe work procedures. <br />Many different types of corrosive, poisonous, and irritating materials will be <br />handled. <br />See Labpack Procedures Section. <br />10. Paint-swap/Recycling/Reuse area: (Optional) <br />Some reusable paint and recyclable items brought in by the participants <br />may be given out to the public. The county will develop the work procedure <br />for this section. Designated sorters will sort out material which is in good <br />condition, fairly new and currently on the market for distribution as reusable. <br />A county representative will approve all reusable material before it is set out on <br />the reuse table. All material not distributed to the public must be consolidated <br />and prepared for shipment at the end of each eventsite. No waste can be left at <br />the site. <br />Workers handling reusable items will do so in a designated reuse area <br />and will not be allowed in the waste processing area. PHILIP <br />ENVIRONMENTAL personnel will bring all the material to them or place the <br />material in a designated area. <br />C.
