San Joaquin County <br />HHWVAR970804 <br />Page 4 <br />providing each participant with a copy of this variance prior to transporting more <br />than 5 gallons or 50 pounds of hazardous waste to any collection event. <br />Hazardous waste shall be prepackaged according to the federal DOT regulations <br />and shall be accompanied by a shipping paper providing required information. <br />6. Only the participating CESQG or employees thereof shall transport the hazardous <br />waste generated by the participating CESQG and only in vehicles owned and <br />operated by the participating CESQG. <br />7. A copy of the variance shall be carried by the participating CESQG in the vehicle <br />transporting the hazardous waste to the collection event(s). <br />8. The hazardous waste shall be transported in accordance with the California <br />Vehicle Code and regulations of the CHP, Title 13, Cal. Code of Regs. <br />9. Hazardous waste transported to the designated collection facility by the <br />participating CESQG shall be further consolidated and packaged for transportation <br />by the applicant or applicant's contractor. <br />10. An accident report regarding any hazardous waste transported pursuant to this <br />variance shall be submitted to this office, address identified in "Correspondence" <br />below, within 10 days of the accident. <br />11.
