PCB results and
the approximate extent of PCB-impacted soil above the DTSC-SL are depicted in
Figure 4.

5.3.2. Soil and Waste Samples: 3 Feet

A total of twenty-three (23) soil samples and two (2) waste samples were analyzed from
borings B44 through B53, B55 through B68 and B79. The following is a summary of
laboratory results:

PCBs were detected in a total of seventeen (17) soil samples at concentrations
ranging from 0.12 mg/kg in B57 to 12 mg/kg in B66.
PCBs were detected in both waste samples at concentrations of 48 mg/kg in B44
and 0.15 mg/kg in B56.
PCBs were detected above the DTSC-SL in eleven (11) samples and above the
ESL in eight (8) samples.
The maximum concentrations of PCBs were detected in B44, B47, B51, B53 and
B66 at concentrations of 48 mg/kg, 3.0 mg/kg, 1.2 mg/kg, 2.8 mg/kg and 12 mg/kg,
respectively.
Analytical results of samples collected at three (3) feet bsg are summarized in Tables 1
and 3. PCB results and the approximate extent of PCB-impacted soil above the DTSC-
SL are depicted in Figure 5.

5.3.3.
