PCB results and the approximate extent of PCB-impacted soil above the DTSC-
SL are depicted in Figure 6.

5.3.4. Soil and Waste Samples: 7 Feet

A total of nineteen (19) soil samples and two (2) waste samples were analyzed from
borings B44 through B49, B55 through B68 and B79. The following is a summary of
laboratory results:

PCBs were detected in a total of four (4) soil samples at concentrations of
320 mg/kg in B46, 21 mg/kg in B47, 0.32 mg/kg in B59 and 0.19 mg/kg in B64.
PCBs were detected in the waste samples at concentrations of 1.1 mg/kg in B48
and 3.1 mg/kg in B68.
PCBs were detected above the DTSC-SL and ESL in four (4) samples.
The maximum concentrations of PCBs were detected in B46, B47, B48 and B68
at concentrations of 320 mg/kg, 21 mg/kg, 1.1 mg/kg and 3.1 mg/kg, respectively.

Analytical results of samples collected at seven (7) feet bsg are summarized in Tables 1
and 5. PCB results and the approximate extent of PCB-impacted soil above the DTSC-
SL are depicted in Figure 7.

5.3.5. Soil and Waste Samples: 10-15 Feet

A total of eight (8) soil samples and four (4) waste samples were analyzed from borings
B46 through B48, B50, B59, B64 and B68. The following is a summary of laboratory
results:

PCBs were detected in two (2) soil samples at concentrations of 0.017 mg/kg in
B46-15 and 0.66 mg/kg in B48-10.
PCBs were detected in two (2) waste samples at concentrations of 1.1 mg/kg in
B50-10 and 3.0 mg/kg in B68-10.
PCBs were detected above the DTSC-SL in three (3) samples and above the ESL
in four (4) samples.
The maximum concentrations of PCBs were detected in the waste samples at
concentrations of 1.1 mg/kg (B50) and 3.0 mg/kg (B68).
