Approve the Negative Declaration and direct the Clerk to file <br /> a Notice of Determination. <br /> 2. Approve Major Subdivision Application No. SU-87-7 for the <br /> 56-lot Lauchland Ranch single-family subdivision, based on <br /> the findings given below, subject to the conditions of appro- <br /> val noted in the staff report, and subject to the approval of <br /> Zone Reclassification Application No. ZR-87-22 by the Board <br /> of Supervisors. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1 . "The proposed map is consistent with applicable General and <br /> Specific Plans. " <br /> ° The proposed map is consistent with the residential poli- <br /> cies of the General Plan and with the Residential , Low <br /> Density, designation of the General Plan. There is no <br /> Specific Plan which is applicable. <br /> 2 . "The design or improvement of the proposed division is con- <br /> sistent with applicable General and Specific Plans. " <br /> ° This finding can be made for the following reasons: <br /> (a) The number of lots proposed is within the density range <br /> allowed under the Residential, Low Density, designation <br /> of the General Plan; <br /> (b) The lots meet the minimum area and width requirements <br /> of the proposed R-2 district ; and <br /> (c) Adequate traffic circulation will be provided by the <br /> design. <br /> 3 . "The site is physically suitable for the type of development . " <br /> ° The project site is relatively flat and can accommodate the <br /> number of units as proposed. <br /> 4. "The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of <br /> development. " <br /> ° This finding can be made because public services (e.g. , <br /> sewage disposal , water, storm drainage, etc. ) are available <br />
