MEMORANDUM OF RECORD <br /> TO: FILE <br /> FROM: Brittani Jacobsen,Manager of Environmental Field Operations <br /> SUBJECT: Waste Management <br /> DATE: June 30,2022 <br /> CC: UPRR Contractors(as applicable) <br /> Union Pacific Railroad (UP),which is a hazardous waste generator,accepted hazardous waste from an off-site <br /> operating property to another operating property location without a permit to operate a Treatment,Storage, <br /> Disposal Facility(TSDF). <br /> According to various drums staged at the UP Stockton facility,hazardous waste was moved from Lathrop to <br /> Stockton. UP operating properties with an EPA Generator ID's and staffed UP personnel cannot accept <br /> hazardous waste from another UP-operating property with an EPA Generator ID and staffed UP personnel. <br /> UP does not operate property as a permitted storage facility for hazardous wastes. Only wastes generated at <br /> remote sites (HSC X25121.3 a�) can be transported to a designated-UP consolidation site (HSC 525110.10). <br /> Contractors are to ensure they are working with their respective UP contacts to follow waste management <br /> rules and regulations in California.A notification regarding the above expectations were sent to all active <br /> contractors on June 9,2022,and June 16,2022. <br /> Signature: Date: June 30,2022 <br /> Brittani bsen <br />
