Development Committee -2-
The comprehensive sign plan for the 50-acre Flag City development
provides for two pole signs, 75 and 90 feet tall. Each sign has
two faces of 864 square feet each. The 90 foot sign has an
additional 15 foot tall Flag City logo. Other pole signs are
prohibited. The display of business logos on multiple walls is
permitted.
The proposed pole and wall signs are not consistent with the size
of the facility or the Flag City signage and they do not reflect
and support a desirable visual quality of development.
The Community Development Department has reviewed this item and
offers the following comments:
1.
