The presence of contaminants does not necessarily indicate that the water poses a health risk. More
information about contaminants and potential health effects can be obtained by calling the USEPA's Safe Dunking
Water Hotline (1-804-426--4791). Some people maybe more vulnerable to contarn a mts in drinking water than the
general. population. Immuno-compromiscd persons such as persons with cancer undergoing chemotherapy, persons
who have uudergonce organ transplants, people with HIV/AIDS or other immune system disorders, some elderly, and
infants can be particularly at risk fiom infections. These people should seek advice about drb*ing water from their
health care providers.
While your drinking water meets the current EPA standard for arsenic, it does contain low levels of arsenic. The
arsenic standard balances the current understanding of arsenic's possible health effects against the cost of removing
arsenic from drinking water. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency continues to research the health effects of
low levels of arsenic, which is a mineral known to cause cancer in. humans at high concentrations and is linked to
other health efFects such as shin damage and circulatory problems.
Vulnerability Assessment Summary
A source water assessment was conducted for the mam well of. the French Camp RV Park and Golf Course water
system in May of 2002. The source is considered most vulnerable to the following activities not associated with any
detected contaminants: chemical/petroleum processing/storage, injection wells/dry wells/sumps, known contaminant
plumes.. landfills/dumps, mining operations - historic, septic systems - high density, underground injection of
commercial/industrial discharges, and underground storage tanks - confmned leaking tattles. The source is considered
vulnerable to activities located near the drinldng water source. For more information regarding the assessment
summary, contact: Steve Cruaraglia at: (209) 598-2444.
R e c e i v e d Time Jun, 22, 2015 9: 2 2 AM No, 9 017 SW5 CCR Form -Revised April 2000
