GP-01-8 AND ZONE <br /> RECLASSIFICATION APPLICATION NO. ZR-01-6 OF LTH TRUST (C/O <br /> LEE HELMS)(APN: 239-060-04) <br /> The applicant has submitted the above referenced application to amend the General <br /> Plan designation and zoning of a 0.53-acre portion of a 5.26-acre parcel. The property <br /> Is located on the northwest corner of Kasson Road and Interstate 5, east of Tracy. This <br /> application will amend the General Plan designation from A/G (General Agriculture) to <br /> I/L (Limited Industrial) and change the zoning from C-X (Crossroads-Commercial) to <br /> I-W (Warehouse-Industrial). <br /> This portion of the 5.26-acre parcel proposed for change will be used for truck parking <br /> upon approval of a Site Approval. The General Plan and zoning of a separate 3.0 acre <br /> portion of APN: 239-060-04 was changed from A/G to I/L and C-X and I-W respectively, <br /> in 1999 (GP-99-3 & ZR-99-11). The purpose of applying for the previous applications <br /> was to permit the submittal of a Site Approval application for an existing trucking <br /> operation that had been operating without benefit of required permits for many years. <br /> The previous application did not include this 0.53 acre portion of property and therefore <br /> this property could not be used for truck parking. <br /> The Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed application and <br /> will be recommending to the Planning Commission, at the meeting tentatively scheduled <br /> for September 20,2001, that a recommendation of approval be forwarded to the Board <br /> of Supervisors. <br /> General Plan Map Amendment of a 0.53 acre portion of a 5.26 acre parcel from <br /> AIG to I/L <br />
