This contract will specify <br /> service levels and facilities needs for various levels of <br /> development. It is anticipated that the first phase of an <br /> on-site police substation will be provided when the <br /> community's population reaches approximately 7,500. <br /> The final decision will rest with the Sheriffs <br /> department based on the department's success in <br /> meeting urban levels of service without an on-site <br /> 660 6.12.Lc Police and Fire station. Y See# COA-37 <br /> Fire protection and police vehicles will be purchased <br /> on an as-needed basis throughout development of the <br /> community,starting in the first few years. Cost <br /> estimates assume that sites for fire stations and the <br /> police substation will be dedicated. However,as the community <br /> grows,an on-site animal control facility may be <br /> required; a$300,000 facility is expected to be built <br /> when approximately two-thirds of the Master Plan land <br /> uses have been developed.
