MOUNTAIN HOUSE
SPECIFIC PLAN 1 CONSISTENCY FINDINGS
Section Consist- Conditions
Heading ency Finding of Fact and Evidence of of Approval
I # Title Text YIN/NA Compliance (COA)
As shown in Fieure 15.1: Storm Drainage Collection System, the
Specific Plan Area is divided into a number of urban watersheds
which drain to trunklines, open channels, and retention/treatment
facilities. Fieure 15.2: Specific Plan I Retention/Detention Basins
Primary Storm illustrates the approximate location and area of basins, subject to
278 15.1.4(2) Drain Collection final design. Y See 9275 COA-94,96
For the Specific Plan, the limits of improvements to Mountain
House Creek begin approximately 1,000 feet downstream of the Improvements to Mountain House Creek
Alameda/San Joaquin County Line and continue to a point are limited to minor modifications
approximately 800 feet upstream of Byron Road. The limits of outside of the jurisdictional limits of
creek construction are shown in Fieure 15.1. Downstream of the Corp jrusdiction. Major improvements
Primary Storm most northeasterly creek improvement, the creek flow is conveyed anticiptaed as part of Neighborhood E,
279 14.1.4(3) Drain Collection to Old River by the existing creek and farm drain system. Y are not required for Neighborhood F. None.
The watershed analysis provided in the Master Plan illustrates that
15.1.4(3) Primary Storm impacts to the Specific Plan Area by the minor watersheds are most
280 a Drain Collection likely limited to the following:
Watershed I and L: As indicated in Fieure 15,1, runoff from
watersheds areas I and L is intercepted by a ditch constructed along
the Alameda/San Joaquin County line. The terminal drain for this
ditch is the local farm drain system to the north of the Specific Plan
Area. These watersheds flow perpendicular to the boundary of the
Central Mountain House area of Specific Plan I. The small amount
of lateral Flow will be easily controlled by the farm ditch system.
Primary Storm Not applicable to the Neighborhood F
281 15.1.4(4) Drain Collection N/A subdivision. None.
Localized Runoff: As shown in Fieure 15.1. localized runoff from As allowed by the Specific Plan and
land adjacent to the south Specific Plan Area boundary, denoted by Master Plan, the Neighborhood F Storm
areas WS4 and WS5, is intercepted by a ditch system which drains water Report, approved by the CSD,
to retention basins B4 and B5. These basins discharge to the storm utilizes a similar approach for
piping system on Mascot Drive. conveyance of storm waters.
Primary Storm Improvements consiustent with the
282 15.1.4(5) Drain Collection Y report will be required.
