MASTER PLAN AMENDMENTS <br /> Policy 3.4.2 (o): <br /> In order to maximize interconnections between all areas within neighborhoods,street and block <br /> lengths shall be generally limited to 800 feet for all local streets. A minority of streets within a <br /> neighborhood may exceed this length,providing that through-block,pedestrian connections occur at <br /> distances no greater than every 500 feet. In instances where proposed locations of through-block <br /> pedestrian connections are determined by the Community Development Director to be in conflict with <br /> the health safety and welfare of future residents such connections can be eliminated. <br />
