San Joaquin Cogen Limited
"San Joaquin Cogen" No. Fi
Page 2
Cement Plug No.2: 1Equalized 190 sacks Class G cement {
(Premium High TeMp Gement)
premixed- with 0.754 Halad-322 (Fluid loss additive) at 526.01 . Displaced the cement.
with 2 bbls of water spacer (The water spacer is Pumped to ke22 the cement and mud
separated. Mud andicement will coagulate and not dFOP out of tubing after beim
um ed. followed by 21. bbls (1 BBL = 42 allons) of 74 pcf mud (Estimated toE of
the cement j2lug att42431 . 190 sacks x 1.15 = 218.5 FT3 x 4. 655 = 1017 LF of cement)
Pulled up the hole iwith 2-7/8" tubing to 37601 . Reverse circulated the well with 32
bbls of 74 pcf mud. Closed the return line from the tubing used for circulation and
pressured the casing with 200 prig and squeezed 2 bbls of cement into
at 46141 - 4634 perforations
(To squeeze is to force fluid into . erforations under pressure)
4-11 Opened the well and found the tubing and casing with pressure. Lowered the tubing
from 3760' and tagged the top of the cement plug at 4343` . The cement plug was set
from 5260 to 42431.4 Applied 28, 000# set down weight onto cement plug. (The weight
of the 2-7/8" work string at 4343' was 28000#. It was noted with the weight
indicator on the rig a loss of 28000# when the t22 of cement Plug was encountered.
Laid down excess 2-,7/8" tubing to next__cementing depth at 1.764' . (This depth
re resents 100' -64164 Desi ated
Leak Int
' erval at 16641.
Cement Plug No 3: Equalized 75 sacks Class G cement Premium High TemP Cement with a
yield of 1.151 FT3 per sack). at 17641 . Displaced the cement with 2 bbls water
spacer and 5 bbls of 74 pcf mud. (Estimated top of the set plug at 13601. 75 sacks
x 1.15 = 86 FT3 x 4. 655 = 401 LF of cement. This is 304 lineal feet above
Desi aced Leak Interval). Pulled up the hole with the 2-7/8" work string to 11441 .
Reverse circulated the tubing volume by 1-1/2 times. (The tubing volume at 1144, -
1144 LF x .00579 BBL per LF = 6.62 x 1.5 = 9.93 total bbls reversed. Closed the
return line from the tubing and squeezed l bbls of cement into Designated Leak
Interval. Closed the well in.
4-12 No Report
4-13 No Report
4-14 Found the well with zero tubing and casing pressure. Lowered the tubing from 1144'
(The location of the tubing after reverse circulating the well after setting cement
plug across Designated Leak Interval. ) to the top of the cement plug at 14341 . (A
total of 401 lineal .[feet was pumped to cover Designated Leak interval at 1664'.
Recorded a total of1230 lineal feet of cement above Designated Leak Interval. ) Set
the weight of work string onto cement plug. (1434.' x 6.5# = 9321# down wei ht
applied. ) Laid downfexcess work string to 3701 . Circulated the well to insure well
bore was full after .laying down work string.
Cement Plug No 4: Equalized 70 sacks Class G cement from 3701 . Pumped the cement
down the work string and had cement returns to surface up 2-7/e" x 7" annulus_
(370' of 7' casin ---''79.5 :FT3. 70 sacks cement x'1.151 = 80.5 F73) Laid down work
string. Removed the BOP. (Blow Out Preventer is an item that. was install on the
wellhead the first da . of operation as a safety precaution, in the event the well
blew out, we could control the well. ) Cleaned the mud pits and cellar box. Laid
down the rig. Moved off rig.
d
