September 26,2003 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER:LE03-295 <br /> NOA reviewed the Underground Storage Tank List and the"Site Mitigation"List at the EHD. There <br /> were no (0) properties under the names of Stan Robertson or K & H Farms on the Underground <br /> Storage Tank list. One address was found on the "Site Mitigation" list on Linne Road. <br /> The Elissa Garay Property at 1660 Linne Road was found on the lids address was not found <br /> during the site reconnaissance. The case is listed as being closed.µ <br /> C. San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services <br /> Inquiries were made with the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) in an <br /> attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note any hazardous materials <br /> releases or spills on the subject property or in the vicinity of the subject property. According to staff <br /> of the OES, there are no files for the addresses of 1801 and 1999 West Linne Road. <br /> D. San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted in an effort to determine <br /> whether the subject property had been used in the past for agricultural purposes, and whether <br /> agricultural chemicals had been used on the subject property. According to Ms. Hazel Gallego of <br /> the Commissioner's office, no agricultural pesticide use records we <br /> po4Dipid related to the subject <br /> property under the name of Mr. Stan Robertson and K&H A!the <br /> The fact that this property is"�: <br /> mainly used for farm production and the answers provide oestionnaire suggest that there <br /> as faulty information on this subject. <br /> Three sites had Surface/Subsurface Contamination Reports performed concurrently for the same <br /> client and in the same area. The three sites were searched for the same records using the same <br /> parameters. Only one site(NE of Banta&Linne Roads)was reported to have had Use Reports. The <br /> search performed on that property yielded an exhaustive list of chemicals applied to that property. <br /> Following are the four highly toxic chemicals applied to the NE of Banta&Linne Roads site. They <br /> are Methomyl,Paraquat Dichloride,Methyl Parathion and 2,4-D. In addition,Xylene range aromatic <br /> solvent, seed and petroleum oil have been applied to that property, as reported by the San Joaquin <br /> County Agricultural Commissioner's Office. <br /> Methomyl has been applied to the property in all of the past five years with the exception of 2001. <br /> The reported half-life of Methomyl is approximately 14 days. Paraquat Dichloride has been applied <br /> to the subject property in the years of 1999 and 2000. Paraquat Dichloride has a reported half-life <br /> of greater than 1,000 days, representing the most persistent highly toxic chemical applied to the <br /> subject property. Methyl Parathion was applied to the subject property in the years of 2000, 2001 <br /> and 2002. Methyl Parathion has a half-life between 1 and 30 days. 2,4-D was applied to the <br /> property in 2002 and has a half-life of less than 7 days. 2,4-D is only considered highly toxic when <br /> in contact with the eyes. <br />
