September 26,2003 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER: LE03-295 <br /> 1952 - There is a residence to the south of the subject property, across Linne Road. There is a <br /> structure to the southeast of the subject property, across Linne Road and the Banta-Carbona Lift <br /> Canal. No other significant changes were discernible from the 1937 photograph,described above. <br /> 1963 -The residence_to the south of the subject property is no longer apparent. A residence can now <br /> be seen to the east of the subject property, across the Banta-CarbonaZift Canal. There is a residence <br /> to the southwest of the subject property. No other significant changes were discernible from the <br /> 1952 photograph, described above. <br /> 1975 - A large building on the subject property, near the southeast corner is apparent. No other <br /> significant changes were discernible from the 1963 photograph, described above. <br /> The 1983 photograph was not available. <br /> C. USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey,Vernalis, <br /> California, 7.5 minute Series(topographic)quadrangle map. The Vernalis quadrangle was available <br /> at the Stockton Public Library from the years of 1952 and 1969. <br /> 1952 -The subject property is a portion of Sections 4 & 5, Township 3 South, Range 6 East. The <br /> subject property rests between 50 and 60 feet above mean sea level. The terrain slopes to the <br /> northeast at approximately ten feet per mile. The subject property is bound by Linne Road to the <br /> south and the Banta-Carbona Lift Canal on the southeast. An unnamed canal runs north/south <br /> through the center of the subject property. Two wells are debicied in_the n_orwrtion of the <br /> property. To the south of the subject property, across Linne Road and near the Banta-Carbona Lift <br /> Canal, there is a small orchard and a small structure. <br /> 1969 -An unimproved Road runs north/south through the center of the subject property,replacing <br /> the unnamed canal. A large building is depicted on the subject property,near the southeast corner. <br /> There are two buildings east of the Banta-Carbona Lift Canal. The building and orchard to the south <br /> of the property are no longer depicted. No other significant changes were discernible from the 1952 <br /> edition, described above. <br /> VI. INTERVIEWS <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner or key site manager of the property.The objective of the interview <br /> process is to obtain information indicating recognized environmental conditions in connection with <br /> the proposed project site. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed <br /> by the Mr. Hal S. Robertson for use by NOA for this report. A copy of the responses have been <br /> included in this report as Appendix D. <br />
