2). Unless the barrier is continued parallel to the railroad beyond lots 6 and 18, the <br /> following requirements shall apply: <br /> (a) The wall shall be continued south at its western and eastern ends to <br /> obstruct noise, which would otherwise travel around the ends of the barrier. <br /> (b) The wall shall continue 450 feet south of the Union Pacific Railroad, or as <br /> far south as possible (whichever is lesser), respecting the setback <br /> requirement from the ultimate rights-of-way of public roadways. The wall <br /> shall be tapered down to a height of six (6) feet at the seventy (70) foot point <br /> south of the Union Pacific Railroad. <br /> (c) The six (6) foot tall masonry wall shall be constructed along the northern <br /> property line of lot 67 and along the western property line of lot 67 until it <br /> meets a public roadway. <br /> e. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The Building Division has reviewed the site plan and <br /> project description and has noted the following: <br /> 1). A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading permit issued by <br /> the Building Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of <br /> earth material. <br /> 2). All recommendations of the Subdivision Soils Report shall be incorporated into <br /> the construction drawings. <br /> 3). A copy of the Soils Report shall be submitted to the Building Inspection Division <br /> and Plan Check Section at the time of final submittal. <br /> f. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements shall be applicable and be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for <br /> a building permit: <br /> 1). Fire flow and hydrants shall be provided for the proposed project by the use of <br /> Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code. <br /> 2). Road widths of less than 28 feet shall be posted "No Parking." Road widths 28 <br /> feet to 35 feet shall be allowed to have parking on one side only and shall be so <br /> posted. Road widths of 36 feet or more shall be allowed to have parking on <br /> both sides. If the road width has an improved shoulder that is acceptable for <br /> parking, it may be included in the overall width calculation. <br /> 2. COUNTY COUNSEL <br /> a. HOLD HARMLESS PROVISION: Pursuant to Section 66474.9 of the Government <br /> Code, the subdivider shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the local agency or <br /> its agents, officers, and employees from any claim, action, or proceeding against <br /> the local agency or its agents, officers, or employees to attack, set aside, void, or <br /> annul an approval of the local agency, advisory agency, appeal board, or legislative <br /> body concerning a subdivision, which action is brought within the time provided for <br /> in Section 66499.37 of the Government Code. <br />
