Regarding Item #319, citing that the overfill has not been approved, as reported in CERS, we utilize a shut off valve in the
fill line of the waste oil UST as our OPE method. This method, which utilizes an ATG and solenoid valve set to shut off
flow at 90%, is an approved OPE method in accordance with LG 150-3. Compatibility of both the ATG and valve were
previously provided to your Agency by Tait Environmental as well as the approved test method developed by a CA
registered professional engineer, see attached correspondence and permit package spec sheets. Finally, the waste oil
OPE inspection was conducted on 9/21/22 and test results were submitted to CERS on 10/4/2022. Please confirm that
no further documentation is needed and we will complete the Return to Compliance indicating that this violation has
been corrected.
Thanks, Frederick and please feel free to give me a call to discuss.
Sheilah Lillie, MS, REHS
Sr. Environmental Scientist
Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Cell: (209) 262-0164
Email: sheilah.lillie@pge.com
From: Ernest, Frederick [EHD] <fernest@sigov.org>
Sent: Monday, November 14, 2022 12:18 PM
To: Steele, Rodney <R2Sv@pge.com>
Subject: 4040 West Ln - UST Inspection Report
This email was sent from an EXTERNAL source.
