Linne Road, Tracy, CA <br /> Rose Family Tracy Properties, LP <br /> Rose Property-APN 239-200-30, 239-200-31 <br /> Dear Mi: Swanson: <br /> Rose Family "l acy Properties is the owner of the properties commonly known as <br /> APN 239-200-30 and APN-239-200-31 and are located adjacent to the property which is <br /> the subject of t'h&Abo've-'ieferefi66d'applicatioh."We object fo the application submitted <br /> by Raymond and Tami Garrison for installation and operation of a paint ball recreational <br /> facility on their property. <br /> The Garrison's property is adjacent to our property. The properties are zoned AG-40 and <br /> are used for agricultural purposes. <br /> We have several objections to the application. We object to the application on the <br /> grounds that the Garrison's property and the surrounding properties are zoned for and <br /> utilized as agricultural property. The Development Title, as part of the General Plan <br /> 2010 adopted by the County Board of Supervisors, indicates that an AG Zone (General <br /> Agriculture) was established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises. An outdoor recreational paint ball facility is not an <br /> agricultural enterprise. Rather, it is a commercial enterprise more appropriately suited for <br /> an urban area. <br /> Our objection to the proposed paint ball facility is also based on the fact that such a <br /> proposed commercial activity will inappropriately increase use of public services in the <br /> area, such as increases in vehicular traffic in the area. This area was not designed for <br /> such commercial enterprises.
