We operate 3-triple combination <br /> pumpers , 1 rescue squad , 2 - 2, 000 gallon tankers , and 1-grass rig. <br /> We have a full time staff of two (2) firefighters on duty at all <br /> times , for a total of 9 paid staff and 28 volunteer firefighters . <br /> Our response time to this area is approximately 5-6 minutes from <br /> receipt of alarm. Normal response to a structure fire would be 4 <br /> units . <br /> We have in the past , put fire department connections on pumps in the <br /> area that are capable of giving us a minimum flow of 250 gallons a <br /> minute . The nearest pump with a fire department connection on it , <br /> would be at the southeast corner of Milton Road and Fine Road , <br /> approximately 1/2 mile from Petersburg .
