The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development <br /> Department for a building permit: <br /> x a. Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> _ 1. ) Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code (public water mains) . <br /> 2. ) NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static water supply) . <br /> 3 . ) County Fire Chiefs Standard enclosed. <br /> Xb. Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix _II-B <br /> of the Uniform Fire Cade. <br /> C. Fire sprinkler.. systems shall be installed according to article 10 <br /> of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and <br /> guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> the California Electrical,Code. <br /> d. All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire <br /> sprinkler systems and water-flow switches shall be monitored in <br /> accordance with 904.3 . 1 of the California Fire Code. <br /> x <br /> 9.
