MOORE & TABER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
CONSULTING ENGINEERS AND GEOLOGISTS
PRELIMINARY SOIL EVALUATION OF THREE BORINGS
Arch Road Industrial Park
Stockton , California 378/149
At the request of Mr. John Cavin of Cavin Engineers,
Sacramento, three sampled test borings have been completed
at the subject site. This transmittal is our interpretation
of soils-conditions at three general site locations selected
by Mr. John Cavin. At the time of study, the site was not
generally trafficable and borings were performed along farm
roads and frontage access as close as practical to the selected
locations.
The project is indicated on an undated site plan (scale
1"=200 ' ) prepared by Cavin Engineering , Inc. , to eventually
be developed as 56 lots covering +193 acres located northeast
of SR-99 and Arch Road intersection in Stockton , California.
Proposed development of the +2600 ft x 3700-ft N/E site is
typical concrete tilt-up warehouse structures with slab-on-grade
floors and glu-lam roofs; +10, 000 1. f. of access roadway is
planned and two permanent ponds will be graded for temporary
storage of seasonal storm runoff (with overflow to an existing
culvert under SR-99) .
Descriptions and discussion are based on the three
widely spaced borings. It is assumed that additional soils
data will be obtained at the sites of specific structures.
