The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for R & A Auto Dismantling as of Julyl3 , 2022 . <br /> Open violations from June 07, 2022 inspection <br /> Violation #117 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> OBSERVATION This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 9/ 16/2020 within 30 <br /> days . The report was delivered to the business on 10/5/2020 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a ) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require , which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department , requires response within 30 days . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste . <br /> OBSERVATION Oil staining on the soil/ground in the vehicle storage area was observed . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire , explosion , or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil , or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately remove stained soil . Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations for hazardous waste .
