Assigned to Aldara after initial research of property owner's WONG <br />contact info, and left vm with complainant on how is their toilets working <br />09/08/2021 Reviewed the complaint, called complainant and stated that the toilets flush okay. SALINAS <br />scheduled appointment for wednesday at 2;30 pm. Printed parcel viewer. <br />09/15/2021 reviewed laser fiche and found the location of the septic tank of the single family SALINAS <br />dwelling to the left of the property from the street, it stated that is about 26 ft from <br />the house, there are two 40 ft long leach lines and the permit number is <br />SR0053643 finaled on 3/21/08. I could not find the other permit for the other single <br />family dwelling on the property. <br />At the property, I noticed the neighbor's number is 5482 and looked up more <br />information and complaints about it,did not find anything but two complaints one <br />about sewage and another one about substandard issues. I found the septic tank <br />permit and the well permit back in 2009. I will send owner a notice to abate for the <br />well to repair the leaking of the well for that single family dwelling. <br />I spoke with Mr. Shih and he stated that we don't force the owners to clean the <br />septic tanks every 3 years and it depends on the usage frequency. I looked up the <br />code and confirmed my beliefs on it to be pumped every three years and I tried to <br />ask Mr. Shih but he was not in his office, I went to Cesar for clarification and <br />confirmation and stated that indeed it is required every 3 years. I contacted the <br />tenant and told her I will mail the owner a letter citing SJC code for that. <br />Got a call from the neighbor living at 5482 209-570-0173 and I asked if she had <br />any issues on the property regarding sewage, she said she had a problem about 2 <br />weeks ago but the owner pumped their septic tank. and the only issue is sandy <br />water from the well. <br />51 05. rpt <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2
