Maximum Line Size for Hourly Testinq <br /> The EPA allows for line leak detectors to be used on lines up to twice the volume that <br /> they were evaluated on . In this evaluation the lines were a total of 2533 feet in length . <br /> The volume of the line configuration was 589 . 34 gallons . Thus , if the EPA allowance is <br /> applied to these tests of twice the volume evaluated , the Pneumercator LLP -203 Series <br /> PLLD for hourly testing could be used on lines up to a total volume of 1178 . 68 gallons . <br /> Presented in table 2 is a chart showing the maximum possible line volume for lines with <br /> a bulk modulus between 2000 and 70 , 000 psi at charge pressures between 4 and 150 <br /> psi that the Pneumercator LLP -203 Series PLLD can test based on either the maximum <br /> user input time of 1000 seconds or the US EPA regulation of twice the evaluated <br /> volume of 589 . 34 gallons .
