Proof of <br /> older designated operator reports being conducted prior to 10/5/2021 were not observed on site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The designated operator visual inspections shall be conducted within 30 days or less of <br /> the previous inspection. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that all designated operator inspections are performed within the required time <br /> frames. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 214 CCR 2712 Failure to comply with UST operating permit conditions. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 87 annular 420 sensor was replaced with a like-for-like 420 sensor on 7/21/2022 and a <br /> notification for the like-for-like sensor replacement was not given to EHD. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Emergency repairs relating to UST system monitoring and release detection may be <br /> performed by a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor pursuant to the EHD's policy and a permit <br /> obtained within one business day from the EHD. All other repairs must have a notification or permit submitted to <br /> and approved by the EHD prior to beginning work. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately obtain a permit from the EHD for the 87 annular 420 sensor replacement on <br /> 7/21/2022 . A"Failure to Obtain a Permit" penalty applies. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 317 CCR 2636(f)(2) Failure of the line leak detector to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi and restrict or shut off flow. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 87 VMI line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All line leak detectors shall be capable of detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site.
