The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: <br /> 1-One 55 gallon drum of fuel paper filters without a label. <br /> 2-One 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters with accumulation start date 2/25/19.Waste stored onsite greater <br /> than one year. <br /> 3-One open 30 gallon drum with oil filters(not drained)without a label. Unknown accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately drain all metal oil and fuel filters of free-flowing liquid, store them inclosed, <br /> rainproof containers. Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline filters", <br /> depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored <br /> on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are <br /> regulated as hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Conducted a Hazardous Waste inspection. There were four violations during the inspection. Complete and <br /> submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the <br /> corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, by 9/1/2022. <br /> Inspection report was amended to replace violation 102 with violation 207. Violation 102 was removed, and <br /> violation 207. The amended inspection report will replace the initial inspection report. <br /> Wastes generated by this facility: <br /> -Used Oil <br /> -Used Antifreeze <br /> -Drained Metal Oil Filters <br /> -Drained Paper Filters <br /> Notes: <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
