S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUNT <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> G&E TEVELDE ORCHARDS INC 21750 E RIVER RD, ESCALON JUly 25, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 404 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following facility hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly: <br /> -Stains are observed around the secondary containment of the used oil tank located on the southeast of the shop. <br /> -Unknown liquid observed inside 5 gallon buckets and a cut blue plastic drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer, at <br /> least weekly, looking for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused <br /> by corrosion or other factors. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately,the following containers need to be removed. The waste needs to be <br /> transferred to a containers in good condition. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to <br /> the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 505 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil does not have complete labeling.The labels on the <br /> tank are not legible and faded. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation <br /> start date. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One 500 gallon used oil tank located on the south east side of the shop is observed without accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
