Friday August 1211, 2022 <br /> Hazardous Materials and Safety Training Meeting <br /> Present—Jason T, Joaquin R, Laura A and Terri R <br /> Went over San Joaquin County Hazardous Materials training and handouts <br /> Discussed Fire extinguisher locations, use and monitoring <br /> Discussed protocol for emergencies, including Map and Exit procedures for staff and visitors. <br /> Map to be posted in multiple locations <br /> Discussed Storm Drain location <br /> Discussed safety procedures for handling of hazardous and non-hazardous material <br /> Went out to Garage and Shop areas for thorough evaluation of storage, cleanliness, inventory, <br /> and ways to improve handling hazardous materials, proper disposal options and updates <br /> needed. <br /> Target areas— Fenced outside area, storage, removal of garbage, oil storage barrels, equipment <br /> safety, Inside garage and shop safety, clean-up, storage, inventory, records, and organization. <br /> Discussion on improvements and addressed any questions and concerns. <br /> Made and provided all present a detailed action plan to follow compliance standards. <br /> Laura Alcantor <br /> District Manager <br />
