S A N J O a Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> — C 0 j :V y <br /> Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name and Address: TAHAMA VILLAGE MOBILE HOME PARK, 10780 N HWY 99 , STOCKTON 95212 <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Lifeguard sign was faded, lacking max pool capacity on sign, and lacking emergency and CPR signs. <br /> Provide CPR and emergency signs, legible lifeguard sign, and max pool capacity. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Both skimmer baskets were damaged. Provide within 1 week. <br /> The southeast skimmer did not have a weir. Provide weir within 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The influent was 19 PSI and the effluent was 4 PSI. Clean/backwash filter and maintain so that the <br /> pressure difference is less than 10 PSI. Corrected on site,filter was backwashed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 31238)Pressure gauge <br /> located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B)Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br /> can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing. (CBC 3128B) <br /> #39 Wastewater Disposal <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Currently the sand filter is backwashed into the landscape on the other side of the pump enclosure <br /> fence. Discontinue this practice and discharge backwash wastewater into sanitary sewer. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Backwash from sand filters shall discharge indirectly into a sump with sufficient capacity to receive <br /> wastewater without overflowing.Backwash from diatomaceous earth filters shall discharge into a separation tank designed to collect the <br /> diatomaceous earth mixture. Wastewater from the separation tank shall discharge into the sanitary sewer.A visible sight indicator shall <br /> be installed on the backwash line when discharge is not visible to the pool operator.Pool recirculation system shall not be directly <br /> connected to the sanitary sewer system. (CBC 3141B)Cartridge filters shall be cleaned in an approved wash down area equipped with <br /> potable water supply. Wash down area shall discharge through permanently installed plumbing into the sanitary sewer.
