The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Blue 55-gallon plastic drum containing used oil did not contain a label. <br /> -Black 55-gallon metal drum containing used oil filters did not contain a label. <br /> -White 3-gallon bucket of waste antifreeze did not contain a label. <br /> -White 200-gallon plastic tote tank of used oil contained a label that was missing the hazardous properties, had an <br /> incorrect generator address. <br /> -Black plastic container of used oil in the shop did not contain a label. <br /> -2 black and one red plastic 5-gallon bucket containing used oil did not contain a label. <br /> -One yellow metal drum of lubricant located in the hazardous waste storage area did not have a label. <br /> -One black with a red lid metal drum of lubricant located in the hazardous waste storage area did not contain a <br /> label. <br /> -One blue 5 gallon bucket of gear lube did not contain a label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 708 HSC 25201.16(f) Failed to properly store and label containers of hazardous waste aerosol cans. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility is managing universal waste(UW)aerosol can storage containers in a way that is out <br /> of compliance with this section.
