Title Search- the owner of each of the properties must be positively identified so
that an appropriate enforcement order may be issued to the responsible parties.
2. Enforcement Order- each owner must be issued an appropriate enforcement
order that references applicable statutes/regulations for the AB 2136 Program.
Enforcement orders should be coordinated with the County District Attorney's
Office regarding the applicability of previous legal involvement with these
properties.
3. Site Access- Sample Site Access Forms have been included for your
convenience.
4. Cost Recovery- the enforcement order(s) should be written in a manner so that
AB 2136 cleanup funds may be recoverable.
We are available to assist you in any way we can with accomplishing needed site
cleanups. Please contact me at 916-255-3827 or Brad Williams at 916-255-2042 for
further information or assistance.
Sincerely,
®4,4e,,
Jer Oberhelman, PE
Solid Waste Cleanup Program
Permitting & Enforcement Division
California Integrated Waste Management Board
