Clean off scrap metal, weeds, and household waste that has been dumped on
the surface of the property. Eliminate the fire and safety hazard of the
property. Eliminate the total eyesore that has been the history of this parcel.
2. Repair existing fences and fence the balance of the property as needed.
3. Float out high spots and holes in the property to improve the looks, safety, and
usefulness of the property.
4. Install well and septic on property for a homesite.
5. Use the balance of the property to fit the present Ag 40 zoning.
6. Work with San Joaquin Health Dept. and County Planning if they prefer that
we change our land use plans from Ag 40 to zoning that would allow uses
such as RV storage, overnight truck parking, or other storage that would not
disturb or irrigate the underground waste.
7. The property was purchased on May 25, 2000, from San Joaquin County. It
was first disclosed one minute before the bidding that it had been used as a
land fill many years ago. S.J. Health Dept. says there isosp sible contamination
because of this.
8. Any underground cleanup and expenses were not created by the buyers. If
any major actions are to be demanded by any government agencies, this was
not disclosed, and the word"possible" does not disclose pending current
action to financially totally attack whoever became the buyer.
9. The property has a 10 acre parcel to the south and a 16 acre parcel to the
north that has had the same landfill uses over the years. The 140 acres behind
the railroad on the west side is a large sewer farm for the city of Riverbank.
